At a glance: Hawaiian Airlines Pualani levels
The Hawaiian Airlines Pualani program offers three elite status tiers beyond the basic free membership to HawaiianMiles. Here’s how they compare.
Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Premier Club

Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Premier Club
Most airlines require you to fulfill specific criteria to qualify for elite status, such as earning a minimum number of points, spending a set amount on flights, or completing a certain number of flight segments.
In contrast, while the Hawaiian Pualani Gold and Platinum tiers have these requirements, the Premier Club level does not, allowing you to achieve this status even if you don’t fly with Hawaiian regularly.
What does Premier Club status get you?
You won't earn any bonus miles when booking flights with this level, and many of its benefits are quite basic. However, you'll enjoy discounted award flights and a few additional perks.
You'll also receive two free checked bags on every flight, access to the Premier Club check-in line, entry to the Premier Club lounge, and priority security screening at select airports.
How do I qualify for Premier Club status?
There are no flight or spending requirements to achieve Premier Club status. You can obtain the annual club membership for $299 or 40,000 HawaiianMiles.
Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Gold
You can earn Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Gold elite status with travel segments or miles.
What does Gold status get you?
With Pualani Gold status, you’ll earn 50% more miles on flights booked with Hawaiian Airlines.
Along with the benefits of Premier Club membership, Pualani Gold also includes complimentary upgrades to preferred seating on neighbor island flights and extra-comfort seats on flights to North America and international destinations.
Additionally, you'll enjoy discounted upgrades to first class on the day of departure, complimentary fare-hold reservations, and free same-day standby on neighbor island flights.
How do I qualify for Gold status?
To qualify for Gold status, you need to accumulate either 20,000 miles or 30 segments. Your elite-qualifying miles and segments must be earned on revenue fares for flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines.
Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Platinum
As the highest status level with Hawaiian Airlines, Pualani Platinum comes with a suite of perks for loyal flyers.
What does Platinum status get you?
Pualani Platinum members earn 100% bonus miles when they book flights with Hawaiian Airlines.
On top of the Gold status benefits, Platinum members also get certificates that are good for first-class upgrades. The number of upgrades you’ll receive depends on how many miles you earn with the airline each year.
Platinum status also comes with a guaranteed seat in economy on neighbor island flights up until 72 hours before the flight departs.
How do I qualify for Platinum status?
To qualify for Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Platinum status, you’ll have to have 40,000 miles or 60 segments under your belt from Hawaiian Airlines flights that were earned on a revenue fare, not miles.
Hawaiian Airlines Platinum Status Upgrade
With Hawaiian Airlines Platinum Status Upgrade with Nobound Life, you will be directly upgraded to Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles Pualani Platinum. The membership is valid until 28/02/2026 and comes with 2 of First Class Upgrade Vouchers.
You will not have to meet any flying or spending requirement and can immediately enjoy the status of Platinum and enjoy upgrade, business lounge, free extra luggage and many more!
Which Hawaiian Airlines Pualani Status is Right for You?
When deciding on the best Pualani status level, consider how often you fly with Hawaiian Airlines and what benefits matter most to you.
If You Don’t Fly Often Enough to Earn Status
Pualani Premier Club: This level offers benefits without the need to earn status. Enjoy perks like free checked bags, priority treatment, and discounted award tickets, making it a solid choice for occasional travelers.
If You Simply Want a Better Seat
Pualani Gold Status: This may be sufficient if you're looking for preferred seating and extra comfort upgrades. You also have the option for first-class upgrades on select flights, allowing you to experience higher comfort when desired.
If You Want First-Class Upgrades
Pualani Platinum Status: This tier provides numerous benefits, especially with the availability of first-class upgrade certificates. If flying in style and maximum comfort is a priority for you, targeting Platinum status may be worthwhile.
Consider your travel habits and preferences to choose the status that best enhances your flying experience with Hawaiian Airlines.
