Guests staying in a multiple bedroom unit will receive complimentary breakfast for 2 people per bedroom. **Some hotels opt to provide the Enhanced Program Benefit: Credit Valued at $100 USD. These hotels are identified with a banner on their hotel page and on the pop-up off the map pin. Instruction to checking STARS & Luminous rates
You can verify the STARS and LUMINOUS prices by using specific promo codes on the Marriott website or app to check hotel rate availability. To check STARS, enter the promo code S72, and for LUMINOUS, use L72. Generally, these two prices align with the hotel's Best Available Rate (BAR). The details of the benefits, price and room fee, cancellation policy will be shown as well.
Once you have finalised the details of your stay, please fill out the form above, and we will contact you with the next steps to complete your booking and payment. Please refrain from booking the stay independently, as STARS & LUMINOUS rates can only be accessed through a qualified preferred travel agency.
Here are the steps to follow after you have submitted the contact form:
1. Confirmation: We will reach out to verify the details of your stay (such as hotel, dates, and fees).
2. Booking Coordination: We will arrange your booking with the hotel and request a payment link for you to pay the hotel directly. Payment are not made to us.
3. Booking Confirmation: Once the payment is confirmed by the hotel, we will send you the booking confirmation and you will be able to see your booking in your Marriott Bonvoy app.
4. Cancellation Assistance: Subject to the booking terms and condition, we will help you cancel or make changes to the booking. If there is a refund, the hotel will directly issue the refund to you.

2. Membership: The Preferred program doesn't require membership, so if you don't hold Marriott Platinum or Titanium status but still want the benefits, this is a great option.
3. Brand Limitations: Brands like Ritz-Carlton and EDITION may lack benefits for Marriott members, but STARS can guarantee those perks.
4. More Attractive Promotions: Sometimes STARS & Luminous offer lower prices.
STARS & LUMINOUS vs. Marriott Platinum/Titanium/Ambassador
The benefits of STARS & LUMINOUS mainly include double breakfast, cash discounts, room upgrades, and early check-in/late check-out. In contrast, Marriott Platinum and higher members primarily enjoy breakfast, room upgrades, and early check-in/late check-out. Some benefits overlap, and Marriott members can redeem points for perks, but exclusive rates require cash payment.
However, the following scenarios are worth discussing:
1. Spending Requirements: If payment is made in cash, STARS/LUMINOUS offers spending credits, making it more attractive when the price difference is minimal.
2. Breakfasts for multiple guests: If there are more than two adults, you can receive the Platinum welcome gift breakfast in addition to the STARS/LUMINOUS breakfast, allowing multiple guests to enjoy breakfast benefits. If you choose not to combine, you can opt for another Platinum welcome gift (like points); every bit helps.
3. Specific Brands: For brands like Ritz-Carlton, EDITION, Bulgari, and Ritz-Carlton Reserve, member benefits are often limited (Ritz and EDITION don’t offer breakfast), or even non-existent (Bulgari and Ritz-Carlton Reserve). However, the STARS program can guarantee double breakfast, spending credits, and room upgrade benefits at these brands.

What rates qualify for Marriott STARS and Luminous?

In most cases, the “Best Available Rate”, (B.A.R.) needs to be booked in order to gain these benefits. You can't combine or use other discounted rates or use points to book your stay.

Sometimes there may be special STARS or Luminous offers that can provide tremendous value for your stay (Examples may include upgrade at time of booking, free night benefits (3rd, 4th night free, etc, bonus hotel/resort credit or other special offers)
Is there a minimum stay requirement?

There is no minimum stay required for Marriott STARS or Luminous reservations.
Do you earn Marriott Bonvoy points for Marriott STARS and Luminous Rates?

Yes, all Marriott STARS and Luminous bookings are considered “qualifying” for the purposes of earning points, elite credits, and more. These count the same as any other stay booked directly with Marriott.
Are these rates combinable with other consortia or programs?

All of the benefits for both STARS and Luminous will only be granted by booking the respective rate codes that are tied to the BAR rate, they are not combinable with any other consortia or programs.
Is STARS and Luminous mandatory for all hotels in the member brands?

No - STARS and Luminous hotels that are not able to support the amenities due to their particular market conditions are allowed to opt-out of the program or not participate in the enhanced Luminous benefits.
Can I Use Marriott points to pay for the booking?

No, you cannot. All preferred programs like this are based on cash rates.
Can I Use Upgrade Certificates?

Yes, you can. There are no issues with stacking Nightly Upgrade Awards.
Can I Use My Own Credit Card?
Absolutely. When booking, the hotel will directly issue a payment link for you to make the payment to them.
